If you have already been issued an AMC number, but have never accessed the AMC account service then you will be required to 'sign up' with the option above.

  • AMC Office Shutdown - AMC accounts and portfolios

    Verification Services will close from Friday, 19 December 2025 at midday (12:00 pm AEDT) and will re-open on Monday, 5 January 2026.

    During this time, the following new applications and evidence submissions received are not able to be processed:

    • initial portfolio
    • additional qualification(s)
    • specialist college nominations
    • update contact details
    • photos and signature images
    • evidence; and
    • emails

    New outsourced notification verification and verification reports will not be imported from ECFMG or uploaded to AMC accounts during this time.

    Upon our return, request submissions and applications will be processed in the order they were received.

    We will also respond to your email enquiry(ies) once operations resume.

  • International Medical Conference 2025 - Online

    More than 200 international medical graduates and stakeholders gathered in Melbourne for the first conference focused on the IMG journey in Australia.

    The event provided a space for IMGs to share their experiences of assessment, migration, adapting to a new health system and contributing to the workforce, highlighting their resilience and commitment to patient care.

    Stakeholders across assessment, education, training, regulation, and employment also outlined work underway to better support IMGs, including more flexible pathways to registration, wellbeing support, exam preparation resources, and initiatives to help doctors integrate into the Australian medical workforce.

  • Pakistan and Sri Lanka MCQ Examinations

    The Pearson VUE MCQ test centres in Pakistan and Sri Lanka will not be delivering the AMC MCQ examination for the remainder of 2025. Candidates will be notified should these venues resume delivering in 2026.
