ECFMG's EPIC portal temporarily unavailable

The EPIC Portal managed by ECFMG will be temporarily unavailable for scheduled database maintenance from Saturday, 19 July 2025, at 9am (AEST) to an estimated time on Monday, 21 July 2025, at 8am (AEST).  

This outage will prevent international medical graduates (IMGs) from completing an AMC portfolio initial application or adding further medical credential(s)/qualification(s) to their AMC accounts. 

Verification updates will also not be able to be updated on AMC accounts; therefore, they are not available on the MBA/Ahpra portal or specialist college portal during this outage.

AMC Accounts Temporarily Unavailable

From Thursday, 14 August 2025 at midday 12noon (AEST) to approximately Wednesday, 20 August 2025 at 11.30pm (AEST)

The AMC will be undertaking system works to transition the current EPIC verification platform to the new MyIntealth verification platform.  This transition will not change the current verification process or affect any verification statuses obtained via EICS and/or EPIC.

Change to Clinical Exam Fee - effective from 1 July 2025

The AMC is pleased to advise that from 1 July 2025, the fee for the AMC in-person Clinical exam will be reduced from $3,991 to $3,000 and the online Clinical exam from $4,391 to $3,400.

This decision reflects the AMC’s commitment to equity of access and continuous improvement in our assessment services, in line with our strategic objectives and feedback from candidates and key stakeholders.  This follows on from the decision to decrease the MCQ exam fee in 2024 and will help reduce the financial burden of assessments.  This is one of a number of initiatives that the AMC is doing to improve assessment pathways and support for international medical graduates. New location for AMC MCQ examinations in Pakistan

The AMC is pleased to announce that based on high demand, the Pearson VUE MCQ test centre in Pakistan will be open and available for scheduling from 9am AEST Friday 11 April 2025. This venue will be open in line with all MCQ sites for any future examinations.
